Just after one day of the release of T-Mobile G2X. it’s been rooted. And moreover it’s very easy to root the device. You just need a Windows computer and Super One Click installed on it.
Here, we are presenting step-by-step instructions to root this device.

How To Root T-Mobile G2x
1. Download SuperOneClick from below XDA link. Comment here if you want it as an email-attachment from us.
2. Extract the zip file and save it to your computer.
3. Install ADB G2X drivers from here.
4. On your phone, go to Settings–>Applications–>Development and Enable USB Debugging.
5. Connect your phone to your computer via USB cable.
6. Run Super One Click
7. Click on Root
8. Wait till the process completes.
9. Reboot your device.
Now you have your T-Mobile G2x rooted.

@Donnie : I think the drivers aren’t working. Could you please uninstall and install the drivers again. If then also it doesn’t work, start from scratch and let pc download the drivers on its own.

I am using a free version of super one click from cnet I have downloaded and installed the drivers but when I start super one click it gets to running psneuter and it just stays there help please anyone.

Ive been all over google and forums and youtube and i downloaded two diff drivers and i downloaded superoneclick so many diff times its just not working for my g2x =,[ please help me im having the hardest time unrooting it
please help me i did all the steps ten million times i downloaded a couple different drivers but the superoneclick is not working for me its sayin that its failed and if i want to continue so it can attempt to root it and i press continue then it doesnt do anything =,[
