XDA senior member pacoforet has leaked the Google 3.0 Music apk file. With this google’s music app, you can listen to your favorite music that is stored on your device or streaming from cloud.

You can also change the settings to stream the music only when you are connected over Wi-Fi.

The apk works fine on Android 2.3.4. But as per Official announcement by Google, it should work on 2.2+

1. Download the file.

2. Save the downloaded file on your computer.

3. Connect your smartphone to the computer.

4. Copy the apk file to SD card root.

5. Download Astro File Manager.

6. Install file manager on your phone.

7. Launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to install apk.

    I saved 2 by downloading the app on my tab and by already having a file manager on it.

    Yes. It worked for me.

    I joined Google Music first and then installed the apk. I’m not sure if it makes any difference, but it worked for me.

    I have Google Music, however, I have an older Android phone and was unable to download this app from the Market. I downloaded and installed this program (works perfect, thank you); however, I can not link up to my account. Have you or anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?

    installed ok but I get a force close every time.

    I am running kaosgingerbread v6 (2.3.3)on an HTC eris.

    Yes, i have my invite and I’m up an running with my incredbile 2 (running stock 2.3).

    UPDATE from my previous post. I took me a few days, but randomly when I opened the Google Music on my phone, I got a notification saying that I can now listen to music via my account. SICK!!!! Thank god I am still on Verizon’s unlimited data plan.

    I can’t get this to work on my xperia x10, i get some sort of error message in chinese when i try to install it :/
