How to Search For Stolen Mobile

Now a days each one of us carry Hi Fi Mobile devices and always fear that it may be stolen. Each mobile carries a unique IMEI i.e International Mobile Identity No. which can be used to track your mobile anywhere in the world. The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is an international identity number used to uniquely identify a mobile phone. The 15-digit IMEI number is an electronic fingerprint transmitted every time a phone is used, which reveals the identity of the mobile handset.

This is how it works!!!!!!
1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.

2.Your mobile shows a unique 15 digit.

3.Note down this number anywhere but except your mobile as this is the number which will help trace your mobile in case of a theft.

4.Once stolen you just have to mail this 15 digit IMEI no. with Your Name, Address, Phone model, Make, Last used No., E-mail for communication and Missed date to [email protected]

5.No need to go to police.

6.Your Mobile will be traced within next 24 hrs via a complex system of GPRS and internet.

7.You will find where your hand set is being operated even in case your no is being changed.

  5. It is so annoying when someone calls your home or cell, and you have no idea who it isn’t it? I have a few money worries at the moment and have been receiving calls which I think are from people wanting payments but daren’t answer them. I see there are some companies on the net who can trace a cell number to the person and provides you information. searchreversephonenumber.com seems to be a popular choice for doing this but the reviews are not that good. Another provider whom is much better priced is the Phone Detective - has anyone here used it and did you get the level of detail you wanted? I.e. caller name and address?

  6. Nice level of information here. There is so much data around about this subject that sometimes you cannot see the wood for the trees but you have pitched this at just the right level so that the lay person can understand - thank you!
