How to Search For Stolen Mobile

5 Comments 24 September 2009

Now a days each one of us carry Hi Fi Mobile devices and always fear that it may be stolen. Each mobile carries a unique IMEI i.e International Mobile Identity No. which can be used to track your mobile anywhere in the world. The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is an international identity number used to uniquely identify a mobile phone. The 15-digit IMEI number is an electronic fingerprint transmitted every time a phone is used, which reveals the identity of the mobile handset.

This is how it works!!!!!!
1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.

2.Your mobile shows a unique 15 digit.

3.Note down this number anywhere but except your mobile as this is the number which will help trace your mobile in case of a theft.

Mobile Battery Saving Tips

No Comments 22 September 2009

If you’re expecting a call and your battery icon starts blinking, the first thing you should do is find a charger. But if that’s not an option, here are ten things you can do to hang on. We’ll skip the usual tips about the ‘memory effect’ and which battery type is better — NiCd or Li-Ion — because you don’t really have a choice in that.

Close Background Applications
If you’re using a Smartphone, close applications that you don’t need. Applications that stay active in the background use up a bit of CPU, which uses up battery. Make sure you ‘exit’ the applications from the menu, not by pressing the ‘End’ key, as that merely puts the application in the background. In Series 60 Smartphones (mostly Nokias), hold down the ‘Menu’ key to get a list of all applications running in the background to close them. In Windows Mobile 5 phones, open the ‘Memory’ application and check the ‘Running programs’ tab to close them.

Wordpress Default Pinging Limitations And Its Solution- MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer

3 Comments 21 September 2009

I recently posted Complete List of Pinging Services. In this post, I talked of a plugin named MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer. Now, I am going to describe here the importance of this plugin in your blog.

Whenever you publish a new post, Wordpress sends ping to the sites mentioned in the settings. This is good but this Wordpress Default Pinging has several drawbacks:
• Whenever you edit your post, Wordpress again sends a fresh ping to those sites.
• Wordpress only pings with the domain url, not with the post url.
Example: If your is www.abc.com
Wordpress will always ping with www.abc.com
Not with, www.abc.com/post1.html
Or, www.abc.com/post2.htm

You can have the same thing in following ways too:
*Without www

*With prefixing http:// and removing www

So, it counts total of 12 different ways your add-on domain can be accessed through browser, resulting in the addition of great duplicacy for Google.

Just copy/paste the above links on your Wordpress blog. Settings>>Writing>>Update Services and click Save Changes.

Also, this is what I feel about my research on net. If you still want to ping all

Do we have to ping all Ping Services

1 Comment 19 September 2009

If you have started a new blog then every time you publish a new post on your blog, you must ping different services. I was also searching the list of pinging services. While Google surfing, the list grew rapidly and around 90 links were in the queue.

But the question arises:
“Should I ping all the ping services?”
The answer is simply—NO.

If you check your ping list, some of the links that you got from internet might not be working. If they are not working, it can’t be a problem for you. But if they are working, your blog can be banned even. Actually, some of these pinging links such as pingomatic, pings many sites. Again, you ping those sites individually too. So, in the end, you end pinging a particular site 3-4 times. Is this acceptable to pinging sites?
